Letter #2. Subject: Pinky's Best Barnyard Friend.

Pinky, I know you live on a farm and you have a lot of friends who aren't dogs. Who is your best barnyard friend and why?

Excellent question, Moo! I like a lot of barnyard animals, except chickens.

Unfortunately I don't know why but sometimes I find myself running after chickens as if I had no control of my legs. In the distance I will hear a voice yelling "STOP THAT RIGHT NOW PINK LADY!" But my legs keep carrying me faster and faster in the direction of the chickens. I apologize to the members of the chicken family for any mishaps which may have befallen them as a result of this uncontrollable chicken-trance behavior. On the other hand, I really like my goat friends. This is for 2 reasons: first of all, goats are friendly and mellow, and they are good friends with Atticus the Pyrenees, who also lives here, and if for some reason I should start to chase a goat, Atticus will knock me seven ways from Sunday. That brings me right to my senses. Anyway, the second reason is that the goats make goat milk, and goat milk is just about the most delicious drink on Earth. If we are good, the farmer will give us milk after the milking is done. And so for that reason, I like goats, and my favorite goat is Baby Belle. Baby Belle has her own blog and she also has a lot of funny ideas.
