As you have probably read in the newspaper or seen on television, Pinky has been arrested. Rather than get into a lot of speculation, let's just go right to the police report.
Police Report (filed by Officer G. Krupke at 1100 hours.) Officer notified of a possible homicide. As officer arrived at residence a large horse (Tommy) tried to eat part of officer's Krispy Kreme donut by leaning over fence. This equine was issued a formal warning but was not taken into custody. Officer proceeded to front lawn of residence where the homeowner and several canines, including the suspect, were grouped around the deceased individual.
The deceased individual was a partridge rock chicken named "Henny." Henny was a female chicken (known as a "hen" in the trade). There were feathers everywhere, enough to stuff a pillow. The homeowner reported that after eating breakfast she had gone to the barn to feed the horses. Two canines, named Spenny and Chile respectively, went with her, while the third canine (Pinky, the suspect) disappeared around a corner of the house to "do her business." (Note to self -- investigate further -- what business?)
After feeding the horses the homeowner noticed that the suspect still had not appeared. She proceeded to investigate and soon discovered the suspect standing directly over the body of the deceased. There were no other individuals in sight.
Suspect refused to give a statement and was taken into custody. She is being held without bail pending the results of dna testing. End of Police Report. (Note to self -- get more donuts.)
