Brandy

Brandy is a small, stylish doe who milked like a fiend before she retired. In spite of her size - she is the smallest of our mature full-size does - she was by far the best milker. It was not unusual for her to milk two gallons in a day when she had just come fresh. She is the herdqueen, and while she isn't above knocking heads once in a while, she mostly rules by the "awe factor." There's something about the way she looks at her underlings that conveys very clearly who is in charge.

Brandy is what I consider a business goat - while she is clearly bonded to her people, she isn't much interested in hugging and kissing. She'd rather just get on the stand, be milked, and get back to eating alfalfa or browsing or generally running the whole show. Unfortunately, we have only two daughters from Brandy - Winnie and Wronny. On the other hand, they are both gems.
